Minor Miscalculation

Ted very kindly pointed out to me tonight that my initial math in regards to this challenge was wrong. I had been thinking that two to three meals per week would get me to the end goal in a year. But hey, math has never been my strong suit. It turns out I need to cook closer to four meals per week in order to hit all 193 countries by next October.

For the first time, I am starting to doubt myself.

I've really been taking things slow and planning just one meal at a time. I need to start planning multiple meals out in advance so that I can consolidate my grocery shopping and cook on consecutive evenings. I'm going to set a mini-goal of cooking my way through the "B" countries by December 12th. That's four meals a week for the next six weeks.

Our cook-off will slow things down for me a bit, so this might be the last one for a while. But I'm excited that the winning country is Australia! Thanks to everyone who voted! Stay tuned for notes from our Australian meals later this week.
