Off the Map: A Few of My Favorite Things

When sautéeing meat or fish in a non-stick pan, a good pair of tongs are my best friend.  I always get nervous about ruining the non-stick surface, but these eliminate any concern.  And they're just fun to use!



My sister-in-law used to work for Pampered Chef, and I was lucky to receive MANY of their great products from her.  This baker is one of my favorites.  Mine also has a lid.  I used it most recently to cook the roasted pork from the Czech Republic.


Not sure what I would do without my microplane grater.  It is essential for zesting lemons and limes, which I seem to do a lot of.
